Clarebout Potatoes works with a highly experienced team that assists and tenders advice to farmers/partners, and executes the required quality verifications on the potatoes.
This team's technical and advisory role is essential to the production of high-quality products. Primordial hereby are:

• The geographical choice of the potato fields in function of the soil (topsoil), the climate and the choice of the different potato varieties,
• The choice of our farmers/partners in function of their knowledge and professionalism
• Follow-up of the crops and the yield, and the execution of required quality checks during the entire growth and storage terms,
• The collaboration with our farmers/partners based on contracts, agreements regarding supply, quality and prices,
• Yield planning and stored potatoes management in function of the various quality demands based on product specifications by the customers,
• Permanent quality check of fresh potatoes in stock on sugar content, diseases and faults, glassiness and dry dust,
• Maintain good and reliable relationships with the local farmers specialized in potato cultivation intended for the processing industry,
• A large number of farmers specialized in potato cultivation in collaboration with Clarebout Potatoes, they guarantee that the supplied raw material meets the criteria regarding varieties, pesticides, colour, size, dry dust, volume, absence of diseases and faults, etc.
• Part of the raw material is picked up at the actual farms and brought to the production units by own transport means
