Clarebout Group (“we” or “the company”) is one of the largest private label players for frozen fries worldwide.

1.2 All these legal entities are separate and independent legal entities. Depending on the processing activity in which your personal data is processed, they may be qualified as a separate controller or a joint controller together with one or more other legal entities. Neither of the legal entities is liable for the acts/negligences of the other legal entities.

1.3 We make every effort to protect and process the personal data entrusted to us in a correct and transparent manner, in particular in accordance with applicable law and in particular the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 (GDPR).

1.4 Under an intragroup agreement, Clarebout applies Potatoes as the principal controller, which determines the purposes and means of cross-border processing activities for all personal data processed in the context of the Clarebout Group’s activities.

11.3.3 Camera images will be kept for one month unless there is a violation of them. We will keep the images for as long as necessary in the context of a possible claim or procedure.

11.3.4 Depending on the specific situation, we can always store your personal data for longer periods. This will be the case in particular if one of the following periods is longer: (i) as long as necessary for the activity or service in question; (ii) the legally required retention period; or (iii) the limitation period within which legal proceedings can be initiated.

11.4.2 Personal data processed in the context of direct marketing, for example for our newsletters, we in principle keep for a period of 5 years from the last contact with our company. However, we may retain your personal data for longer for these purposes if you have meanwhile become a customer with us, namely for a period of 10 years from the delivery of the products or services, or from the last contact with our company if this would take place later.
